Flying Cars Before GTA 6? Tesla's New Roadster Just Took Off

On October 15, 2026, Tesla showed a new Roadster that hopped over other vehicles, drove upside down on a ramp and ran 0 to 60 mph in 0.81 seconds.

Yes, you read that right.

And let's be clear: I'm not talking about the guy who takes a corner at 140 and ends up in the neighbor's yard.

On October 15, Tesla showed off the new Roadster. And the version built with technology developed together with SpaceX lifted off the ground, hopped over other vehicles and spun in the air.

Short flights, of course. Enough to get past the car in front of you, not to fly off on holiday.

But imagine the problem this creates in neighborhood parking.

You walk out of the café. Someone has blocked your car in. You call the number they left behind the windshield:

"Hey, come move your car, you've blocked me in."

"Is that the Tesla that flies?"

"Yes."

"Then just go over me, bro! Why are you wasting my time?"

Technology keeps moving. And it doesn't stop there.

The Roadster also drove upside down on a ramp, thanks to a suction system that, according to reports, keeps the car glued to the surface with around 4.7 tons of force.

This is where even the neighborhood mechanic would pause for a second before saying: "Yeah, we had one of those."

According to Tesla, the car goes from zero to about 97 km/h (60 mph) in under a second. In the demo run, it clocked 0.81 seconds.

Finally, that person who always tells you "give it a little gas" will understand how important the word LITTLE is.

If the final car really does all of this, it's insane.

Not "we made the screen a bit bigger."

Not "now the interior lights also come in lilac."

We're talking about a car that lifts off the ground and drives upside down.

There's just one small detail: production is promised for 2028.

And after all the Roadster delays, we'll keep our reservations. In both senses of the word.

So, the car flew.

The customers are still waiting on the ground.
